Sad news the other day - Paul Jackson, owner of the Adelphi in Hull since the mid '80s, has died after a short battle with cancer. Pulp played the Adelphi countless times from '85 to '92 - probably more than any venue other than maybe the Leadmill. Don't think I've seen any photos of Pulp playing there but...
