It's a very poor show. Merchandise may be one of the main sources of revenue as they're always telling us, but prices don't have to be exorbitant. I can get a plain mug of the same kind for a quid
I said to my friend at Pulp at Wireless, the merch stand had all these shirts and I noticed the His N Hers shirt looked like it was ironed on. I've tried that process before myself and it makes for a very itchy and uncomfortable shirt. I could be wrong though, I'd like to think they're not seriously selling ironed-on shirt designs for £20.
SURELY they would make a lot more money lowering prices as more people would buy them? i don't think many people would fork out £10 for a mug no matter how pulpy it was (unless it was absolutely amazing)
I cannot remember what the original pulp mug cost me back in 1996 but surely no more than 7? Or whatever ... still going strong at my place (but only me and very special people are allowed to drink from it)
That this is Hardcore bedset was very scarce. Did you win a cometition? You could also get red Pulp sunvisors and hand fans. For some reason they really went all out on merchandise for a time.
did they do this is hardcore kimonos or bath robes? if not they should of. Pulp Merchandise people LISTEN! we have the ideas that you can make you heaps of money.
Had a bit of a binge at the Pulp store tuther week, they have a bit of a sale on. One thing I bought was the new Mis-shapes t-shirt, and just wanted to share the fact that it's really lovely - much nicer than the 90s Mis-shapes t - very good quality, just delicious. As a size guide, I got the XL, I'm 46" chest, fits nicely. Also got the mug, which is okay, slightly disappointing (bit small: unless Sarah has really tiny hands, much smaller than the one in her tea review video), but that's showing sold out now anyway. The t-towel is nice, there are some little flaws in the printing, but it's quite good considering it's printed on a t-towel.
