I've checked it out and the sound quality of this new stream is worse than what we've previously had, which was probably sourced from the promo CD, though not by much - the FLACs are not full CD quality. Whiskey in the Jar and 59 Lyndhurst Grove on the French Common People single are better quality than the full Black Session in either format.
This is interesting, though. There's more of the radio intro/outro at the start and end of this new version, which sounds like it's taken from the original broadcast. It's lightly edited - a few seconds of between songs banter have been cut out (before Sorted for E's & Wizz, and between Something Changed & Whiskey in the Jar, I Spy & Disco 2000, Disco 2000 & Live Bed Show, and Live bed Show & Underwear). And although Common People still fades out before the end, there's a few seconds more of it because of the extended radio announcement. The songs all play at a fractionally different speed, too, so it's clearly not taken from exactly the same source as the promo disc. Nice to have an alternate edit!
Great work! Never knew that Whiskey and Lyndhurst were on the French CP single. Interesting choices, I guess it made sense to use non-DC material played to broadcast quality in France.
