Post-Pulp Pulp photos
(Preview)
In the two hours between doors and the band starting in Birmingham, I had the privilege of getting to talk the ear off our very own Pip. I mean, he literally couldn't move. He was on barrier and I was behind him, chattering away like a monkey of geekery. Anyway, Pip mentioned his amazing story of getting t...

Well here it is, I have done all the 1980s and will link to everything else over the next few weeks. If anyone wants to help, just PM me your email address and I will get you signed up. Knock your...

Niche 2019 remasters Question
(Preview)
On 11th July 2019, Jarvis and Steve were pictured at Abbey Road with Geoff Pesche 'working on something special'. Geoff Pesche was one of the team who mastered Different Class back in 1995. Facebook Some commenters - including Eamonn of this very parish - suggested it was remasters. 25th October 201...

Press Reviews for "More"

Mad to think that across the world (well, UK mostly), a couple of dozen or more music reviewers are currently enjoying the fruits of the official Pulp comeback and ready to file copy to give the album an 89% average on Rotten Tomatoes or whatever the music equivalent is (MetaCritic?)... New edition o...

Surely there will be podcasts of Pulp here there and everywhere in the coming days and weeks. Doubtless more interviews. Another session or two would be fabulous. Space for the fans too:

I'll be going. Anyone else from here? When's a good time to queue from to get to the barrier (based on the Dublin and London gigs)? Will anyone here be queuing for a while to get in? Cheers! -- Edited by Ian on Friday 20th of June 2025 08:29:58 AM

Rebooted Pulp Blog
(Preview)
Hi everyone, I'm Mike from Philadelphia. I used to post here long time ago. Haven't really been on here since the 2012 shows. Some of you may remember my old Pulp blog. It's now been restarted. I will start revising and posting song reviews in chronological order, more or less. Would love to get feedbac...

So who else is going? I should have about an hour to spare beforehand if anyone would like to meet for a quick drink. Hopefully, the band will announce a number 1 album on stage.

Any reviews/comments from anyone here? I'm trawled through threads and may have missed some, but the Independent review mentions 'other members of Pulp' etc. so just wondering who was there, what form it took etc?

Random Pulp videos get posted on Youtube from time to time and you never know what (or when) you're going to stumble upon. I might be wrong, but I don't remember this being commonly shared or discussed (nor the Holly Johnson introduction!). An early live version of Underwear - fantastic performance w...

Later With Jools Holland - Sun 01/06/25
(Preview)
Anyone watching? Solid start with Spike. Jools kept referring to Pulp being back after 25 years. Come on Julian, do your maths right. It did feel a bit 2001 when The Hives came on next with their three-chord Swedish swagger. Holland seems to be talking way too much with Suzanne Vega. Plenty more to come...

Pulp on Vinyl

I got my More green vinyl in the mail today. Sadly, I don't have a lot of Pulp in my vinyl collection. Obviously, in the States, you usually don't see used copies of HnH or DC out and about. Here's what I else I have. After You (RSD) Girls Like it Too Room 29 Beyond the Pale Chansons D'Ennui I would love to at l...

Springwatch

Anyone who is a regular viewer of BBC2's Springwatch will know Chris Packham has a long history of slipping song titles of a particular band into his links... and this year it's a Britpop theme: Week 1: Oasis Week 2: Blur Week 3: Yes, you guessed it! Of course, with We Love Life he's spoilt for choice! I'l...

Pulp Live at Glasgow OVO Hydro 7th June 2025 (may contain spoilers)

So, who's coming to Clydeside? (I am) Not sure about pubs for afters near the venue, plus they'll all be quite crowded on a Saturday, but if people fancy a natter I'd recommend we get a (frequent) metro train from Exhibition Centre back into town. 'Box' is a good place, will be open late and has a proper mu...
