Surely there will be podcasts of Pulp here there and everywhere in the coming days and weeks. Doubtless more interviews. Another session or two would be fabulous. Space for the fans too:

This thread can be for interviews rather than reviews.

A good interview with Nick here and the Yorkshire Post:

Two lovely interviews, there!

I was a bit taken aback by Jarvis saying he wasn't enjoying Pulp towards the end... maybe I've glossed over that before, but I don't remember him saying that (unlike most of the rest of the band!)

Interview with Jarvis and the NME's editor. Nothing majorly new and the Britpop-reductive talk does grate but more positive comments about Pulpfuture:

How did Stephen get on at Radio Sheff this morning? Listening to the breakfast show now and enjoying it too much to rewind- they had a quiz about movies released in 1995 and now a segment about a gluten-free fish and chip shop in Barnsley and I can't get enough of the accents...

The host was *lovely*. Couldn't believe her transitioning from normal human to on-it morning DJ repeatedly! Keep listening for the secret guest... :D

I'm listening back now, Stephen you sound great.

Think I've fallen in love with Ellie a bit.

I've been very open to a Yorkshire life partner but it's blummin' difficult on the south coast to meet anyone north o't'Watford gap.

Thanks so much. I was soooo nervous, but the other guys were great. We possibly spent more time talking about Pulp than listening to Pulp. The radio picked a good mix of people and managed to not invite anyone too full of themselves, except for myself.

Louie was a young lad, about 22, and was so confused by Ellie's references to him being King Louie, which were more frequent off mic. We were there just over 90 minutes all told, then I ran to Bear Tree records to buy my copy - with a freebie. Shortly after, the rest of my family arrived and we did some Pulp sites! Really lovely trip out :)

Nah, you sounded cheery, knowledgeable (and i assume what they want the most) to the point without waffling. To be honest, you sounded a lot more nervous on the Russell interview!!

Must admit I nearly spat out my cup of tea when one of your cohorts said their favourite bit was Jarvis' line from Tina "Screwing in a charity shop". It's 07:48 as the reporter glibly noted biggrin

Thank you. I think I expected more questions to make me blank than actually did.

We also all totally cracked up when Fiona did that. Total ledge antics! She was an Australian born fan from way back. One of those who used to get NME and MM four months late, and sneak into the nightclubs when the Britpop bands finally came over. She lives in Sheffield now and has been in to the station more than once before as their resident Pulp-voice.

And the younger lad, Louis, had got into them two years ago when Spotify's algorithm played him Babies. He played it again and again and was as big a fan as any of us - just with a whole different experience.

As I said, it was a good mix of us they picked. Really fun morning.

And the amazing moment before Nick came on...

Btw, it wasn't the reporter noting the time - it was Ellie's producer. His face when it happened. Ha!
