It has gone from £27 to £60 for 3 years. I am just a bit p!ssed off that the company failed to honour their promise (I have the original email saying that it would renew at £27). I wouldn't demand that people pay but if anyone wanted to chuck something my way, it is totally up to them.
The current hosting expires in 28 days so it gives me plenty of time to play around with this free plan. I think that I have moved the site across correctly and just working on getting my emails (and mailing list) back up and running.

Am sure you've got it all under control, but give us a shout if you need help archiving anything that might slip through/you get bored. Tangentially, and let's not discuss here for derailing fear, but I've been wondering about crawling this forum and it seems ok to do so - something to bear in mind.
Some good news: I contacted the hosting company to ask them to cancel my plan when it expires and they reduced the price to £51 then £37. Some of the alternatives I looked at were either a lot more expensive or lacked some basic features (for example, the free one I looked at yesterday only has the facility to receive but not send emails).
In fairness, the hosting package is really good. I have had no complaints of downtime and it includes lots of extras that I don't use.
I will look at putting a PayPal donation button on the homepage.
By the way, there is a gig on YouTube that is not on the FCL site - Pulp's performance at the Phoenix Festival in 1993. It's an interesting listen as it was their only gig that summer and indeed for quite a few months after as they spent the autumn working on HisnHers.
Lipgloss and Have You Seen Her Lately? were recorded around the week before this festival. Apparently there is MTV footage of Lipgloss but I'd be surprised if anyone has seen it (Giles, at a push!).
Here's the youtube link - Edit: Audio only, sadly!
The files are held in Google drives but the main index is my own website and I have to pay for the domain and hosting. I have no objection to paying for it though I wasn't happy that the provider pulled out of the deal I signed up for. I considered using free hosting with ads but that was easier said than done.
A couple of people have offered to donate so that's why I have put the button on. It's totally optional, the website will always be free to use and any donations will go towards the hosting cost.
