Looks like no more Russell

This actually made me feel quite nauseous. And sad. From This is Fake DIY about Russell's Miner Musical: Within a couple of months, a draft of the first act was ready, but with the reformation of Pulp last year, the aptly christened 'Two Tribes' had to take a bit of a backseat for a while. Going back to my o...

OK doke, looks like, with a couple more finds, I'll be starting the Project from scratch. Two questions... 1. Where should I host it for best access by all? 2. Should I have the remastered tracks, or stick to the originals? Although I really enjoyed listening to New Freaks tonight, it did have a much di...

high-res reunion photos?
(Preview)
I definetly want to print a landscape photo of Pulp reunion and put it on the wall, this wish isn't going away since last summer and I have to do something about it. Where does one get a good quality picture? I'm ready to pay $10-20 for the image in photostock, where do people sell Pulp photos? -- Edited by M...

Good Golly Gosh...Sink or Swim is very bad indeed.
(Preview)
Or is it just me? I doubt it :) Also, I can see why Please Don't Worry was left off It. So very clunky and just too much going on! Very much a link to Pulp #1 though, so at least it's historically interesting. Lovely organ part, too.

A Beginners Guide to Pulp
(Preview)
A few years ago, a friend asked me to make him up a compilation CDR of Pulp because he'd heard something on the radio (presumably "Common People") and wanted to investigate further. I don't copy commercially available material for anyone so I played him some songs in the car and told him to g...

How many songs will they play at the NME awards?
(Preview)
Based on previous sets, when the Specials won 'outstanding contribution' in 2010, they played just one song. Likewise PJ Harvey in 2011. So is just gonna be the one song? Common People? Sorted? Disco 2000? Which is it to be? My money's on Disco 2000.

I was wondering how many singles and things like that you guys own or concert tickets or maybe like just a piece of paper Jarvis or the band signed. I've only been listening to Pulp for a year and a half and I was really young when they were at the height of their fame but I've gathered up a decent amount in the...

Anyone around here fans? Low are touring in April and as a result RGC are playing a show in London and one in good old Sheffield (their tour manager/driver is from Sheffield so they often hit it)... There is a new EP coming up... Who's kicking those jams?

FIGHT!
(Preview)
This has been covered before but not with A POLL! (I think) So which is your favourite? Glory Days or Cocaine Socialism? And if the question on the tip of your tongue is 'which version of Cocaine Socialism?' - the answer would be your favourite version of Cocaine verses the album version of Glory Days.

Just to let those of you who've not been following every thread obsessively know that recently some kind (yet anonymous) soul uploaded a copy of the above song to the Bar Italia 2007 account. Fire reissue update

Have a look over here - not much news, except a nice 1991 photo that I'd not seen before and an interesting addition to the tracklisting of It. Apparently they've now gone back to the original master tapes, baked and remastered them to a high standard. I've heard a preliminary MP3 of the single version o...
