Nice. The award they're picking-up at the NME thing is named after this aswell isn't it? I have a 14 year-old cousin fighting a losing battle with leukemia. Absoloutely heartbreaking to see it happen.

Great to see the group support this.

I wonder will it be part of a series of UK dates around that time before they go off to America. Probably unlikely given it's towards the end of Feb now.

Yes. This is happening. Megabus. Travelodge. Gig tickets. Gonna be worth it...!

A little worried that it'll just be 'the hits' again though...

PS Thanks for this, Arno!

Blimey - and the TCT website lists the original line-up as being Jarvis, Nick, Mark, Candida and Steve... no Russell!! Oh no!

I mean, I saw them 3 times with Russell. It would be better with him, but if not I hope it's an opportunity to hear more songs from TIH and WLL.

I assume it's just by knowing about it, i.e. seeing that tweet. The link goes to a www2 address which is presumably not generally visible on the normal seeticket site.

Sad about the Russell situation too, but what's the normal situation with TCT gigs? Does one tend to get new songs, or is it very much a Hits arrangement...?

It's all the hits usually, since it attracts the kinda audience you get on festivals. but who knows...

Thing is, at such a thing the 'Help The Aged' style songs would probably be more familiar than stuff like 'Lipgloss'...

Saw Franz Feedinand years ago at the Teenage Cancer Trust gig and they played a fair few b-sides...but then they did only have one album at the time!

Ah well...got my fill of some personal favourites at Brixton so, whatever they play, I'll just sit back and enjoy it for what it is.

"Pulps original line up - Nick Banks, Jarvis Cocker, Candida Doyle, Steve Mackey and Mark Webber - will perform their greatest hits." is on the TCT website. Dont expect Manon acoustic.

I was thinking of the Suede gig, aye. It was, however, their first 'comeback' gig, wasn't it? Well, apart from the Manchester warm-up anyway. Hence hearing The Hits was every bit as good as hearing the 'rarities'!
