Oh, decisions decisions..... Not the biggest fan of Albert Hall and those last two Brixton gigs were awesome. Also, can't help but feel it might be Hyde Park again with mainly diff class, hmmmm..... Can see me panicking at the last minute and ending up getting tickets "just in case"!

Lovely venue (so I'm told) for Macca. I don't have the holidays. But then again, my Quango thingummy is dead from 31st March, so what can they do to me...? :)

Am in complete quandary as I loved Brixton so much and I don't want to spoil the memory. BUT if it's a chance to hear more stuff from This is Hardcore and We Love Life I'd be gutted to miss it. AND I promised teenage son if they play again I'd take him. AND I happen to be in London anyway on 28 March for the opening of the British Design 1948-2012 exhibition at the V&A. BUT my husband will be away in New York (he's gutted his dates don't coincide with Pulp there) and it makes things mega complicated back in Cornwall with kids and pets...

Deborah, I'd go for it. The way Pulp seem to work, you never know which gig will be the last one. Or quite what you'll get to hear!

After all, who'd have thought that 'Like a Friend' (of all things) would have had an airing at a filled-to-capacity Glastonbury stage in the sunshine...?

I almost didn't go to Hyde Park for that same reason.  Brixton was quite a high, but Royal Albert Hall will be well worth seeing Pulp at.  Next best thing to the Theatre Royal.  I'd much rather see Pulp there than somewhere like the O2.

I have been to the RAH three time, Suede,  which was excellent on the Dog Man Star tour,  Beautiful South/Shed Seven where I sat very high up, and wasn't quite as good, though there was lots of laughs launching paper aeroplanes from up there, and once for the Proms (though not the last night), which was incredible.

Best to get on to the floor area, but seats on first level are very good.

The Royal Albert Hall is really fancy isn't it - any idea of capacity / if it will be standing or sitting?

The capacity is about 5,000, but about 1,000 seats are held by members, which is a form of debenture mainly used to ensure tickets for the Proms.  I doubt too many will be used for Pulp. Quite often they have the RAH box office sell them on, but for charity shows, they are auctioned.   I'd expect standing on the floor as well as the gallery (not good if you suffer from vertigo).  There are also boxes available.

I know, I feel the same, Brixton was so super special for me, but still, I am chuffed to have another chance to see the band, or at least most of them.
Now let the stress begin to get standing tickets, tomorrow at 9am I am nowhere near a computer, so fingers crossed the pre sale tickets las a little bit longer than an hour, otherwise friday it is. x

From my experience, it lasts about one minute.

Have to agree with ArrGee on that one. No way will they last an hour! Do you have a good friend who could maybe have a go at 9am on your behalf?

Thanks ArrGee - still my prospects of going aren't great. I'll be on a train at 9.00 Wednesday and in the middle of an important presentation at 9.30 Friday hmm

They haven't made it clear who this pre-sale is for have they? I seen the link on twitter for seetickets yesterday but it didn't make it clear whether you needed to be on the mailing list or a customer of somewhere did it? Surely the pre-sale isnt available to everyone because that would make it pointless?

Pre Sales are pointless. Even when there is a password the touts have hold of them. Still, it gives you 2 chances to get up early and miss out on tickets.

it is available to all, essentially a bit of a heads up for those who are bothered enough to look into it.  Only pointless if you fail to get a ticket.  Pre-sale links can come in handy in getting tickets, though the Hyde Park one was a total farce as the page I was looking at never had the link updated...

Panic! Panic! Panic!

Alarm didn't go off (i.e. slept through it). Only a text from Captain Tractor awoke me. Got to work...without my pass. Had to 'phone 'round to get in.

Still, at least I've got my debit card...

EXactly and £50 for the downstairs (I think) £25 is "restricted view circle"

I don't get it - if standing tickets are much cheaper than the standing, are they further away from the stage? Or what?
