All the tickets are still available! Obviously not too much demand then...
A lot of people probably weren't aware of the pre-sale link. Must admit these days, whenever I see a gig on sale, I start hunting for the pre-sale. Also got blur/Specials/NewOrder this morning with a BT code.
Why do Seetickets want to encourage touting by not letting you cancel tickets?
Seems a bloody stupid way to run a ticket company...
See Tickets are a pain. They send tickets out at the last minute. At Christmas, I got tickets just two days before a couple of gigs. Was fortunate someone was in to collect them. I wanted to cancel because I could have just printed the tickets off ticketmaster, but alas I couldn't.
If I had a choice I'd get them elsewhere, but as they seem to have had a couple of Pulp pre-sales, I have had little choice.
yes yes yes yes yes!! I got a friend to try to get me the ticket whilst I was on the train and he was saying stalls standing were gone in seconds, then tried from my phone at about 9:20 and got it straight away I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED (and skint)!!!
Whre are you travelling from Mia? sorry I hadn't replied about going to sos festival, I am sticking to London now as at the mo I have no more spare cash, I want to go to see new order and the specials at hyde park and that's anopther £60! I thought Blur on the Brits last night was awful, music was amazing, but what is up with Damon's voice, it actually got worse! anyway....
That's a good price. Make sure you're at the front, though. Both times I've been (Blur and Pulp) even though I wasn't more than about 20 rows back for Pulp, I was always surrounded by very bored, very chatty, very mobile-phoning people. Horrible atmosphere to enjoy your favourite bands in!

I was amazed at how quiet it was stood at the front. I was probably about 10 people back at the centre. However, it wasn't the place to be chatting to your mates . Shame I had to endure TV on the Radio & Grace Jones to get the spot, though The Horrors were good to see and The Hives were entertaining if not altogether brilliant.
I guess about £60 is the going rate for a gig these days. Amazed there were tickets for £82.50 for Pulp at RAH. I can't see too many takers at that price, and even worse you are in a box away from all the action. Quite happy with row 6 in the stalls, as my wife is coming and she'd only stand at the back whilst I headed for the front.
I'm not going to the RAH but I checked at about 9-45 and standing tickets were still available but they're all gone now. Was it really a presale or just the normal sale?
Presale I think. But presumably a lot of people bought the seated tickets and got on with their day. Or thought Standing tickets would come out on Friday and were waiting for them instead...? I nearly did...
Loving the fact that I was made to feel young....and then nearly everyone else was even younger than me :D
I've got a good feeling about this gig. I don't know why. I'm not a festival fan - Wireless last year was exciting but whenever I've seen Pulp at Reading, V or Wirless last year it wasn't quite the same. Perhaps that's because I was lucky enough to be at the Halloween gig in Birmingham a week after WLL was released which was fab - Jarvis on top form with a joke after each song virtually. And of course Auto which was nearly, nearly as good. I think Pulp seem to work better where Jarvis feels free to have a bit more of a laugh and a joke on stage. And boy, you couldn't get a better stage than the Royal Albert Hall!
