To be honest, I'm more enthusiastic about this than I was about the Pulp reunion. Oh my God! But I'm not too shure about this. Why would he reform Relaxed Muscle? That was a real one-off.

Er...seriously?
It would be good for a laugh if it did happen, if a bit random. Maybe including that Time Out Darren Spooner article in Mother Brother Lover got him interested again.
Lol at the article for treating RM as a serious going-concern:
''The group has maintained a relatively low profile since their sole album release in 2003''.
Why would he reform Relaxed Muscle? That was a real one-off.

I guess it has something to do with the dance company they're performing with -- Michael Clark's. Jarvis had him on his radio show where they talked about David Bowie stuff. That's the only connection I could find. Clark's in a month long residency at the same museum.

There was this event at the Tate last year as well, I remember seeing pictures of a posh launch party somewhere that Jarvis and Kim were at.
"To the choreographers favoured soundtrack of rousing yet contemplative pop - Pulp, Kraftwerk, Bowie - they dart, dash and dive around in pairs and groups, dressed in all-in-one leotards which echo the black and white setting and the stark monochrome lighting."

Weener, the Michael Clark dance troupe might sound hideous, but when they worked with the Fall in the late 80s, it was actually pretty bloody impressive!
Also ArrGee, if this does happen, I don't imagine there'll be any sort of tour. Very much a one-off at this venue, I would have thought. A normal band can play most places, but Relaxed Muscle - especially post unveiling of 'Darren' - don't really have that option...
I suppose we should just prepare ourselves for a very-short-notice (i.e. at 14:00 the day it is to be played) gig at a tiny venue in London or Paris, if anything.
Hopefully some footage will turn up this time. I remember watching a live performance of Mary and The Year of the Dog on the website of Trash Club London, but unfortunately only Mary made it unto youtube and videos on the website do not work anymore.

I just want to see Relaxed Muscle live. Maybe they could have a one-off at my local, but if tehy could just let me know about it.
