The first episode just finished and guess what...Jarvis had the start of 'Goodnight' played in the background at some point! Is this the first time he's (almost) played a Pulp song on the radio?

Just thought he never gets much attention in here, so I'm offering a shout out to Nick! Can't imagine the band without him, he's a friendly, earthy chap, he's a great drummer and he doesn't seem to have aged in years. So there you go.

I'm sure I read on another thread that they got a replacemet violinist for this. Were they any good, was the song any good, should they have gone with the re-arranged post-Russell Krautrock/Motorik version?

Suddenly got a snippet from a song in my head bit don't know which song, pretty sure it's a Pulp song. The bit that came to me is almost spoken, and I might not have the words right but it's something like: "a lamp shade completely irrelevant"? Ring any bells? It's sounds a bit odd.
