Just Seen Tim Allcard
(Preview)
Not fantastically interesting news as I see him fairly regularly! Just thought I'd mention it. Never have plucked up the courage to talk to him and probably never will, I was on the bus this time anyway. He sells these lovely screen print paintings in Rare and Racy. Then I saw Simon Callow on my way back...

(Preview)
Because I've become very quickly addicted to this site and no ones posting at the moment: the 8 songs you'd take to a desert island (seemingly unwritten rule seems to be only one song per artist/band) you get a religious tome if want and the complete works of shakespeare (let's shake it up and change it t...

Different mixes of 'Freaks' tracks
(Preview)
Following on from some bits and bobs that have been discussed of late, just how many different mixes/masterings of the Freaks tracks are available? I have seen mention of both They Suffocate at Night and Master of the Universe available in slightly different mastering, but I'm not sure if I've heard...

Live @ Glastonbury 2011
(Preview)
For those that have a Dimeadozen account, Glasto 2011 has been uploaded for shares. As with Dime, these are in FLAC. Can't say of the quality yet, but it's coming down as I speak, so I'll let you know if it's a dire taping. (But from what has been commented, it's good). The link is: http://www.dimeado...

Which album would you like them to re-record ?
(

)
(Preview)
Well that question would probably only apply to records pre-island, when you know, they had no money. So which one and why ? I think id be interesting to have them try a new version of Separations. It's a charming album, with the best bunch of songs from the 80s, early 90s... but with the quality speakers...

Sex, Pulp & Critique (Academic Article)

From a while back when I was a student I downloaded this article on This Is Hardcore. I love the breakdown of the mix of the song on P.235. I suspect it's quite an obscure item? http://www.megaupload.com/?d=NZSQCKDU

Don't know how many of you crazy kids have ever seen Blakes 7? The disco version of the theme tune I've just placed in the 2007 account bears slightly more than a passing resemblance to We Can Dance Again. See what you think.
