atlanta would be beyond wonderful for all the fans here in the southern states...but i'm not going to cross my fingers. i do think these fast sell-outs help to show just how important and loved the band is here.

...and i think new york would've been much faster had ticketmaster not crashed for so long yesterday.

NYC took a couple of hours??!? I'm in for both shows, can't wait! w00t.gif

Are there any rumblings about second shows being added in either city (or elsewhere, for that matter)?  I've read so many complaints on FB and Twitter from people who didn't get tickets, just wondering if it will make a difference.  I'm going to hold off on booking flights until it's clear there won't be any dates added...

It almost feels, by asking if we are all in, that there could be another show.

Crikey, won't you be all Pulped-out after seeing them another two times?!

I agree w/ the holding off of booking a flight, I think they are gonna hit Seattle... a second SF show AND Seattle would be ace!

How many tickets did they sell altogether for their own shows then (i.e what is the capacity of both venues? I suppose I could always look this up...)?

I looked it up last week, if memory serves NYC show was approx. 6000 and SF show is approx 2250 I think.  I really think they will announce more shows this week, maybe Monday... I'm sure an Email from their website will be in my inbox w/ the dates soon.  Hopefully these shows will leave these A-hole scalpers w/ tickets that nobody buys from them.

Really, "200% and Bloody Thirsty"?? wink.gif

I don't think it's possible to be Pulp-ed out (3 counting Coachella).  Don't you still feel the slightest twinge of regret for not going to the 2nd Brixton show?

I saw the @Pulp2011 tweet after saw119 (hey, he got his sn back!) posted.  I hope the band is pleased with the love we've shown them so far.

Re: being Pulped out, I think I'd have the same enjoyment from Pulp last year if I'd missed Hyde Park and just been at Glasto and the two Brixtons. But I would certainly have (more than) a twinge of regret had I missed the second Brixton night. Not only was it by far the best gig of the three, it was probably also the best gig I've ever been to in my life!

I would have loved to have gone to the second Brixton concert but just couldnt afford it. I had the Electric Picnic performance at the end of that week to go to aswell.

Im sure it was fantastic but I cant imagine it being much better than the first night. The excitement of not knowing what song was coming next, meeting people on here and Hawleys cameo was all more novel at the first show even if the second nights setlist was imo, a little superior (and a bit longer too).
