I'm going up to the Big Smoke now to an event in Mile end this evening. I'm a bit anxious as the only thing I know about it is from the song, but my friends assured me their student daughter lives there and it is gentrified now. So hopefully I will survive.

So who else is going? I'm staying over at the Britannia which cost £35. It still shows availability (at £56) now if anyone is looking for somewhere to stay. Doors open at 17:30 and it ends at 21:30 so I'm guessing Baxter Dury will be on at about 7 and Pulp at 8.
