So would I! I'd laugh my head off (and I am not being sarcastic). I adore Relaxed Muscle and that video clip was an absolute treat. I remember The Sweet like it was yesterday Jarvis is so much of his era, isn't he?
I can tell you, as a Relaxed muscle man he is very!!!!!!!!!!!!! different to his "normal Dj-set". I saw him a month ago on the Weekend-Festival in Cologne and it was more like this:
At the beginning he mumbled something in the mike like (hello I'm Jarvis, I don't speak German and I'm the dj). That was it. Most of the time he bowed his head over the turntable. In between he ate a clementine but that was the only exciting thing. The music was good. First I was thinking: do I dance, because I wanted to dance or because he is the dj or because I like the music? After a while I didn't care, I just did it: a lot of unknown stuff, my favourite was something from Velvet underground and "What I say" from Ray Charles. I wanted to tell him, that this is one of my favourite dance songs, but he didn't react, to no one. Shyness? Arrogance? Tinitus? I don't know. It was ok for me. Somehow it was familiar, that he was in his corner, fumbling with his long fingers in cufflinks and made the people dance.
When I said The Sweet, I was referring not to Jarvis's appearance but to what he was singing. I thought I'd have another quick look at the clip to be sure I'd heard right but, I'm afraid, the clip seems to have been removed from Youtube.
I get what you mean about the Roy Wood beard, though, Sturdy.
