Hello - most of my old Pulp tapes got chucked out years ago but just found a couple more lurking, I'm sure everything is out there but just thought I'd check before they go in the bin! One is marked as Camden Palace 3/11/92 which the Pulp wiki states there are "There are no known recordings" and one is labelled as Paris 17/11/92 which doesn't seem to exist on the Wiki so is probably mis-labelled, it ends with the Frankie Valli cover 'The Night' which if memory serves sounds very much like the version I seem to have on my computer, I have no recollection of where it came from though!
Very happy to try and get them on my computer and upload them, but don't want to go to the bother if they're already (likely better copies) floating around, I'll have a stab at the Camden Palace tape if there's really not another recording...
I wouldn't bother with the Paris one as it's already well circulated (just not in the Pulpwiki list of gigs because it's a radio session). But the Camden one would be really interesting - have't come across that one before. Thanks!

OU
Live On
The Boss
Babies
Pink Glove
Razzmatazz
She's a Lady
Was half listening when I was recording it and thought the original recorder may have cut out a small chunk of "technical difficulties" between the last two songs as there seems to be a jump.
Have put it up as direct download on my dropbox for anyone who's interested, maybe not a classic but sounds pretty good!
Listening now and it sounds great. What a strange setlist, it's backwards! In this period shows nearly always start with She's A Lady and OU towards the end of the set. The presence of The Boss and Live On all suggest that the Camden Palace suggestion could well be correct. I can't find a matching setlist on Pulpwiki for '92 or '93. What are you going to do with the tape? I only ask because you've uploaded it as a very low bitrate mp3 and ideally I'd love a FLAC or other lossless copy.
You are also welcome to the original tape but it's not very exciting, just a standard blank tape, the tracklistings are in my handwriting so for some reason I must have transcribed them from the original cover, I only ever got tapes from Camden market or Pulp People swaps so would have been one of those.
The thing with the tape was I suddenly thought what if it's the only copy in existence? Would we really want it chucked away? I'm still presuming it's a previously uncirculated show, and will continue to do so until Will says otherwise. Pink Glove seems to have debuted in the last third of '92 and they appear to stop playing Live On regularly, inserting songs like Acrylic Afternoons or Your Sister's Clothes into the set, in early '93 so it can be dated pretty closely. It's a great little find.
Many Thanks for the Camden share, looking forward to hearing it. On the other side of the tape you mention The powerhaus 23/12/92 does your copy include 'shes a lady? circulated copies are missing this track...I remember going to this show largely because Channel 4 we're filming the exploits of the support bands 'Fmb & Fretblanket' for some programme or another..Not sure if they filmed any of the Pulp set though? And i cant remember the name of the tv show either.
Many thanks for sharing! I had no idea this one existed. I always find early 90s recordings enjoyable, so it's great to hear something new.
PulpWiki certainly isn't definitive regarding whether or not recordings exist, but anything not listed is definitely rare and can't have circulated much. For whatever reason, some recordings get circulated amongst a few people, but then later seem to just disappear.
The venue seems very plausible to me. As Stephen (saw119) wrote the setlist entirely fits with late 92. The lyrics to Pink Glove are unfinished and very similar to the Black Session recorded two weeks later.
Regarding the London Powerhaus recording, it is widely circulated, but I'm wondering whether your copy could be slightly better quality, maybe a generation closer to the master? I can upload some samples if you are interested in comparing.

Aah, that explains the shouts for Maureen and My Lighthouse!
