Except... the content on that page is very poorly written, not sure what to make of it! And checking the Wayback Machine, the site has been like that since at least 28th March.

Thanks, Sarah. TIH is my favourite album. Anything to celebrate that is welcome in my eyes, but - I'm trying to stop myself - I can't not get carried away with the ig post. It's such a specific lyric, arg!
The Pulp People website looks really strange, almost like it's on the default setting of a simple website making platform like Wordpress. Looks phony. Like Sturdy said, somebody might've bought that domain.
For the moment I'm guessing that it's related to a reissue of This Is Hardcore. His 'N' Hers had that 25th anniversary version - maybe it's like that? Obviously I want a Pulp reunion too but I'm hesitant to get my hopes up...
Probably not relevant but, I think last year, Chilly Gonzales casually mentioned in a podcast (can't remember which) that Jarvis was working on a second Jarv Is... album. Doubt it has anything to do with Jarvis's post since it's very Pulp-ish though.
Natuarally I would think this is a Hardcore reissue/thing based on the lyric but... it's the Different Class font and encore definitely suggests a live element. Like others have said, best be cautious...
Good lord, I didn't expect anything like this - consider me cautiously optimistic.
Also it's absolutely insane to think that it's been 10 years since the reunion ended already. I was hoping they'd have struck while the iron was hot last time in terms of new music, but they still seemed hungry and vital, so it'd be good to see where things stand 10 years on.

On Twitter Nicks deflecting rather than answering - and hes usually quick to grumble that if anything was happening hed the last to know. I think its on!
A domain history request for pulppeople.com seems to suggest that it was allowed to expire in 2018 and then purchased again back in 2019. There's been a few DNS changes to it since then, the last in February which co-incides with this new site popping up.
It is Wordpress - and the copy is very placeholder/SEO stuff. What intrigues me though is that I can't see them letting go the domain. I know Jarvis ended up swapping domains a few times but you'd think they'd keep hold of it just in case. Though, as a web developer (yes, a lazy one, perhaps) if I was setting something up to 'go again' in WordPress then this is the sort of thing I'd do as a 'holding site' before going live. I do suspect it's most likely to be a spam site though.
It's hard to guess, I suspect we won't have to wait long (maybe tomorrow) to find out. If I was betting I'd say some kind album from the last few live shows. Jarvis's output has been such a lot compared to previous periods, I just can't see anything like a new album or any substantial live tour - Jarv Is has felt very much 'the thing' now.
Going on the other thread - it's interesting the Steve hasn't posted it, or even acknowledged it....
My wild prediction is Pulp announce a show at BST Hyde Park when the Springsteen tickets are sold. Which has echoes of what happened nearly 12 years ago
For purely selfish reasons (having two young kids) I hope it's not just a gig in London as I don't think I'd make it - it's hard to get down there for me whilst being a responsible parent.

Last time it started with the announcement of a gig in London and snowballed into 50 gigs over 2 years. I had two young kids at the time. But they are no longer young. So I guess no need to worry about being responsible.
So it looked like the pulppeople.com domain had expired and maybe been bought and squatted on in 2018...
However, looking at the Facebook account - www.facebook.com/pulppeople - they made an update in 2020 to put the website address on the page - which would suggest they are still in control of it.....

I dont think its TIH related due to the different class era typeface.. But the post is Pulp related due to the lyric, so im fully pumped up. i cant really see him pushing a reissue a year before- hed do it a couple of months before surely and it wouldnt as cryptic as this post is?

If it was to be an album, I'd imagine that a good deal of it could be the WLL Deluxe edition we've been hankering after, rerecorded a la After You... I wonder.
Live in the park seems quite likely, if this comes to anything. Which I kinda feel it will

Agree, its probably not just about Hardcore. The questions are how the end of the hiatus all started nearly 12 years ago. Same this time?
In terms of a live reunion or full on reunion and speculations and theories flying on every social media outlet right now, let's address and ponder some: Candida did say years ago there would most likely be no more reunions...and given her condition. And Jarvis is very deeply committed to Jarv Is right now. And obviously working on more new songs.
Steve is being very quiet (as they've unfollowed each other, again...) And no mention anywhere of this, which normally he would be, if Pulp related, if say, a reunion, or even reissue. Unless they really did get into a spat (NO EVIDENCE ..but the unfollowing is weird) and he refuses to get involved. That's ALL CONSPIRACY theorying here. Plus, he's busy with being a producer, etc.
Marks doing his thing now. Nick is always Nick. Lol.
Unless Candida encouraged them to go on without her and use, say, Serafina on keyboards as she's been doing all that for Jarv Is... But that just, seems really ..unlikely. And I can't see the band going along without Candida even if she told them to. Plus, Serafina and Emma have their own other band outside of Jarv Is, which is equally as active.
In terms of a possible reissue: That seems more likely. Or even with a fun new song they might've recorded or redone. Or remix? Possible Jarv Is might've recorded a 'cover' ..possibly involving Pulp members? Could a future or TBA surprise Jarv Is show encore feature a guest appearance performance by members of Pulp? That, I could maybe see happen?? But he seems very careful about not making Jarv Is shows into a nostalgic act.
Given its a DC font and TIH reference... That makes it more puzzling. Lol. But I think its gonna involve Jarv Is somehow. Just a weird feeling and ..I just..who knows??? Lol I can't see a full on tour. If its Pulp related, I hope its something really out there different and wild.
But during the last ARTE show Jarv Is did, which is still up on YouTube, they came back out for an encore and nobody was prepared for that or ..not sure, and they decided to replay "Aline" and there was a couple jokes thrown about by Jarv ..can't remember what now. That was what first went through my mind for some reason when I saw his post. Maybe this sparked a fun future encore idea for him lol.
But, the disappearance of TIH from Spotify etc recently seems intriguingly suspicious, too......
That's some top notch teasing he did!! Lol. Could be ANYTHING!!! lol.

I think it's what you said on Facebook.
A one-off gig/residency for the Save The Leadmill campaign.
Hawley has already announced 4 nights. Pulp could probably do a month's worth but maybe a handful of dates there would give a chance for most of the hardcore fans in the UK to see them.

Hardcore is still on Apple Music & Prime Music.
Given the applause on instagram post, the word encore", the Pulp font and the Pulp lyric it seems obvious that a Pulp gig (Jarvis/Steve/Nick would be the minimum required, though ideally others) is in the offing and most likely a return to somewhere big played last time out. So could be Motorpoint Sheffield or Hyde Park. Also I suspect that there may have been some negotiations for big festivals like Reading/Leeds, Isle of Wight and Glastonbury.
There may even be a new LP or reissues, but I doubt thats what the Instagram message alludes to.
When did TIH disappear from Spotify? It's there today
The USA version of Spotify of the deluxe version went missing for a while. This was part of a whole discussion about it on one of the Facebook groups. Was posted a few weeks ago. Here's a screenshot:

Thanks, interesting - strange things afoot so close to the anniversary

Dont see Hardcore deluxe edition on Apple Music or Prime Music Unlimited but basic Hardcore is there. His n Hers deluxe is on Apple Music but not Prime Music Unlimited. Different Class deluxe on both.
Hard to read much into that as the list of Pulp albums differ on both platforms. i.e. Peel Sessions on Prime but not Apple.
Maybe a new Hardcore with the deluxe tracks and This is Glastonbury is on the way
The website looks badly worded to me. When I read it, I thought that they have used the word "album" in place of [After You] "single".
Another reunion would be great but I'm not sure how well it would be received by the media if they don't release some material.
"This is Hardcore" 25th anniversary edition is possible but not sure what extra material they could include that isn't already released. They didn't include a demo called "Grown Ups" presumably because it was left as an instrumental. There is a demo of "Help the Aged" and an instrumental of "Northern Souls" from November 1996 and demos of album tracks from 1997 (alongside those that were released on the 2006 deluxe). "This is Glastonbury" (even the Japanese version) didn't include the full set so that's possible.
A brand new album sounds unlikely but not impossible now that Jarvis has found a comfortable way of recording. With regards to Candida (and possibly other members) not returning, I think that if all parties agreed, then it's not a massive problem. Bands always go through line-up changes and lest we forget, Pulp made two albums after Russell had left.
One possibility is an anthology box-set as discussed on a previous thread. Again, unlikely but not impossible. Of course, it would mean Fire and Island coming to some sort of deal to release their material collectively but I'm sure neither would turn down the money. The recordings have already been made, which means that the hard part is over. Surely remastering them with fancy new booklets would be fairly simple by comparison.
I've sent a very politely worded message to Leo Abrahams over on Insta to see if he could shed any light on the matter. Doubt I'll get a reply as his last post was from 2020.

But it's an avenue to explore none the less.
If it is shows and a reworked band line up would really love Lep to be part of it. All the respect to Candida mind.

Personally, I dont give a monkeys about the media reception I would be quite happy if Pulp did a run through every LP song by song including B-sides over a week and there was no new material at all. Jarv Is is a better vehicle for new material.

I think Jarvis is plugging his book at some festival or other this weekend. I wonder will he want to wait til that's over before the big reveal. Hopefully not! Let's get that Friday Feeling...
I'm trying not to build myself up into any real excitement or even attempt to speculate what it might be about, in order to avoid disappointment. I've learned this skill, as I'm sure many here have over the years of being fans.
But... something Pulpy is going to happen & that can only be a nice thing.
I wouldn't worry about any media response. The marketing for the 2011/12 reunion was primarily managed from a single Twitter account & let's face it - the guy has posted ONCE on his Instagram something pretty vague & it's all over the place already!
He's probably sold a few thou books in the past month with excellent reviews across the board. That's all the media profile shiz he needs. Besides, Pulp are big enough to do reunification on their own terms (ie one sole broadcast interview and no print ones during the whole of 2011/12).

So true. Did not have the record company hastily release a greatest hits. And the London & Sheffield dates, sold out in next to no time (well except Hyde Park, but that was 60,000 people in a field). And even when they released After You, they appeared on Jonathan Ross and disappeared, never to be seen again
no other band would have done that!

I admire Jarvis' media skills greatly :)
Fair enough, but I am looking for something to get somewhat excited about having missed a couple of festivals (illness) this summer and now with my week of Divine Comedy at Barbican in jeopardy due to my daughter heading off to college.
Ultimately, as you wrote, it can only be a nice thing so a bit of excitement cant do any harm, can it?
Even if there's no reunion and it's just a This Is Hardcore anniversary reissue, it's still nice to see that the forum has blown up within the past few days. So far, 243 people in the last 24 hours.

I would not be unhappy with a Hardcore reissue, but having the original CD, This is Glastonbury, the deluxe edition and the Plain vinyl reissue from 2009 (and all the CD singles in their many formats), it is not high on my list. Also I believe there was supposed to have been a Different Class 25th anniversary reissue along the lines of the His n Hers 25th. I guess COVID kiboshed that, but if there is a Hardcore reissue then surely Different Class should also be reissued as well. I still live in hope that PulpIntro appears on vinyl some day. The glaring omission for me and I am not willing to spend £75 for a copy off eBay.
I wonder were ticket sales slow for his event on Monday so he decided to entice more folk along... #cynical
Most likely not. As tickets were announced that same day, hour, he posted his. Or so I was able to sleuth.
