OMG my husband just watched me do a Russell Senior joy dance! He started talking about how I'm a 'grown woman' in my 30s and should know better... he's so wrong! :D
Those questions and pics on the official site are fucking brilliant. So Pulp. Love looking at the music gear :) Fuck me, Russell Senior is going to be involved!!! No wonder he scurried away before Sturdy had a chance to corner him in Sheff last week.
And Webbo tooo! Finally he can put his F1 career to one side...Sarah, did he swear you to secrecy at the film festival the other week? Can't feckin' wait.
As for it being the original line-up I don't see Dolly's name mentioned ;)...quintessential line-up maybe.
Yeah, the fact-checker in me was annoyed by that "original line up" thing.
Also, they are promising songs from "all periods of their career." It's not the potential of early stuff that's surprising to me. (It's not such a leap to hear songs like "Little Girl With Blue Eyes" or "Legendary Girlfriend"). It's the idea that Russell is going to learn to play "Hardcore" or "Sunrise" that's intriguing to me. (Or will he leave the stage for those songs and Hawley will come up?)
I actually think the biggest surprise is that both Russell and Mark are involved.
Really, really cool news! I'm excited. I just saw on the Facebook page that a Spanish date has been announced as well, so I guess this won't be a UK only thing. Great!

1) Wow wow wow Pullllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllppppppppppppppppppppppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! & I never got to see Russell before (:
2) When's the Spanish gig? I'm actually in Barcelona in May. If I get to see them there too........but Hyde Park YESSS!! Also it's on a Sunday, maybe the flyers'll read 'what are you doing Sunday, baby?'.
just checked and it's the week after I'm in Spain :( Still mega excited about Hyde Park tho'.

Sarah, did he swear you to secrecy at the film festival the other week?
I swear to God, Mark never said anything to me when I was chatting to him at the BFI. Although come to think of it he did have a bit of a twinkle in his eye, but he did have a cold at the time so I thought nothing of it.
