What is important actually is the azimuth callibration. You can really improve playback quality with a good calibration. You may be able to do it with a screw driver on the Denon I think....
Here is the Ping Pong Jerry demo BTW: http://www.sendspace.com/file/55ipdb
I don't really want to get any further involved in the debate of whether or not it is right to be uploading these bootlegs for everyone. At the end of the day I cannot be bothered; I am quite happy with my collection and would like to say thank you to Freek for uploading a couple that I didn't have.
I've said my piece and would just like to leave it at that.
Anyway, Eamonn did pay me for copies of bootlegs years ago. I think that he was requesting "A Little Soul" CD1 or something through the Pulp People ads and I sold him a spare copy of that. After exchanging a few emails, he shown an interest in some of the other items I had but had nothing to trade that I didn't have already. As a penniless student, I snapped up the opportunity to make some money and definitely gave him his money's worth. I think that this was before R&A Music. Anyway, it was a deal that satisfied both parties.
Right, the "Blue Girls" sound gap. I remember getting a copy of the Flux bootleg on tape which had that gap then I got a copy of it on CD off Kev who I think repaired it himself by copying and pasting the same part from earlier on in the song. Kev? Are you still about?
Ian, just thought of something...you never came across that VHS tape with ''JMTV Rocks The Garden'' did you? And when is your website going to go live?
LeoVK asked for Happy endings. this is one of the few gigs I have where they played it (and also the rarely played Seconds), I chose the one with the best sound quality to my ears
Thank you so much for that...and it even has Styloroc too, which I also lost with the same PC so a double win! :)
There's some great stuff coming out of this thread. Even the debate (however heated) is an intresting and intriguing. I'm going to have a good dig around my old hard drives. I must have something worth offering...

I cannot find the video but I'll definitely have another look.
My website, interesting one, hopefully in the next couple of months.
Thanks Freek, loving these! Downloading the Air + Jarvis show now, thanks Weed! Any chance of a recording of Your Sister's Clothes, or Someone Like the Moon?

Your Sisters Clothes is on the ULU, London bootleg that Freek posted (quite early on in this thread) - I don't think Someone Like The Moon has ever been played live.
Jarvis wrote it! The man never ceases to amaze. Going by the internet its that album that Air made with Charlotte Gainsbourg. As I'm on a Qantas plane next week, possibly not the best song to put in a playlist...specifically about the cabin burning up.
I've completely missed that album - didnt realise he wrote so many of the tracks. Pick it up in France when im there next week me thinks.
Are there any more recordings of David's Last Summer? I have one from the 27th of April 1994, at Manchester University (my 4th birthday, haha) but no other live recordings of it sadly! Same fro any recordings of Stacks, I've only got one live recording, from L'Olympic 1993.
1992-12-20 Paris 1992-12-23 London 1993-01-29 Paris 1993-02-23 Glasgow 1993-02-26 Manchester 1993-03-02 Leeds 1993-03-05 Portsmouth
David's last summer: I don't have any live recordings of this song...
Oh man, would it take long for you to upload some of these shows?? The only one I have is the 1993-01-29 Paris show! The 1992-12-23 London and 1993-02-26 Manchester shows would be cool.. I could upload the one live version of David's Last Summer I have, though that's not much to offer in return, sorry!!
I'm just really into Pulp shows during 92-93 but hardly have any.
