therehas to be extra material. i doubt they went in the studio for 12 tracks. a single wouldnt delay the album, it could be released afterwards.... i dont know, its still a month or so til its released, so there could still be a single inbetween
"Bad Weather" seems like it was recorded for the sole purpose of having a song from the album that was super-catchy and safe for radio. I'd be very surprised if it didn't become a single, though I suppose it may just released to radio stations.
by the way, Richard hammond first solo album which also is on rough trade records, got a single lifted after it was released. maybe that's an indication
I think that Fat Children would be a suitable single, it's rowdy enough to be heard well and liked in ordinary pubs and whatnot, the type that would typically avoid singles like The Trees (which I think has turned into one of We Love Life's best tracks some years later.
