I hope there isn't a single - it would just delay things.

I think if there is any out take material it should be released as an EP or something...

therehas to be extra material. i doubt they went in the studio for 12 tracks. a single wouldnt delay the album, it could be released afterwards.... i dont know, its still a month or so til its released, so there could still be a single inbetween

"Bad Weather" seems like it was recorded for the sole purpose of having a song from the album that was super-catchy and safe for radio. I'd be very surprised if it didn't become a single, though I suppose it may just released to radio stations.

agreed, yeah, it's likely the single

by the way, Richard hammond first solo album which also is on rough trade records, got a single lifted after it was released. maybe that's an indication

i think Fat Children could be the single. Heavy Weather is my least favourite song on the album, i pray it isn't the single. The Trees, anyone?

I think that Fat Children would be a suitable single, it's rowdy enough to be heard well and liked in ordinary pubs and whatnot, the type that would typically avoid singles like The Trees (which I think has turned into one of We Love Life's best tracks some years later.

Heavy Weather was played on Ken Bruce's show on BBC Radio 2 on Tuesday morning - the first Jarvis solo track to receive airplay?
