Let me save you some time. It was a 5 minute phone interview and most of the interview focused on the Paris nightlife, or I should say, the lack of Paris nightlife. The host made some lame jokes about cheese shops, etc.
Jarvis spoke briefly about the new album, saying he considered retirement, but started getting bored, so decided he'd try his hand at music again (and probably for the rest of his life). Then he said that he decided to go solo because that was the only way he could get the songs to sound the way he'd imagined them in his head. Maybe that's why he tried his hand at the Nancy Sinatra tunes again.
