Apologies if this has already been well documented but I couldn't find any mention of it - I've spent a lovely day listening through the three reissues, but am curious as to why there isn't also a We Love Life deluxe? Anybody know any rumours or plans in that regard?
I presume it was thought that not enough time has passed for it to be re-evaluated. Or maybe cos it didn't sell very many.
However the fact that Scott Walker produced it and that there's a wealth of stuff Universal could stick on the second cd gives me hope that it will one day be reissued.
If the bargain bin at my local Virgin Megastore is any indication, then I'm guessing Island still has a whole warehouse full of unsold copies of Hits and WLL.

Dare I say it, but I'm hoping these re-issues fill a warehouse or two and then I can pick them up out of the bargain bin.

It would of been nice and tidy to have We Love Life as well.
People only have so much money and considering it was their last release. I think it would be the last to be bought out of the list, ending in poorer sales I guess.
You're A Nightmare is the same as the one from Lipgloss. Disco 2000 is an *entirely different* Nick Cave cover than the one on the Bad Cover Version CD.
