From what I have heard of the reissue demos and things.......the things that stand out for me the most are.......

We Can Dance Again - I cant understand how this would not fit on DC - would fit nicely between I Spy and Disco 2000

Ansafone - THIS IS AMAZING! Never did I realise that this was going to be the demo and not the bside..............good stuff too :)

Disco 2000 - Nick Cave Pub Rocker - This sounds just like a live rendition of D2000 during the DC era concerts.....lovely :)

Its A Dirty World - Wow, I cant understand why this was axed! Its got such potential to be an epic - id have sacked off Seductive Barry to pop that on.......but the thing is , maybe its a little too dark for hardcore? Is that possible? lmfao

The Boss - Compared to the demo tape, this is possibly the best of all the demos released on the reissues - candida at her best id say - I just cant chose between this and We Can Dance Again lol

Its about time that Island gave us something of use..........and I am pleasently surprised by  these reissues - and they have been remastered, listen to His N Hers, you can tell on that album

I just realised I forgot about It's A Dirty World, that's a fantastic song, I really really think it's one of the best. I like Seductive Barry, but I can see what you mean about a potential replacement. If you ask me, I'd have used it instead of Party Hard... I just downloaded (for now, I want the package in my hand, so to speak) the rare tracks, is Ansafone a demo then? Is it much better? I guess I should just listen to the preview and see...

I'm not crazy about "It's a Dirty World". It sounds like... I don't know... its too... like... it's just... I can imagine Journey doing that song. Or Poison. Or Def Lepard. It just has that 80's hair metal band thing going on. Do you know what I mean?

I only downloaded the new songs. Didn't bother with Ansaphone, or Cocaine Socialism, or Tomorrow Never Lies. I'll save those for later. So the Ansaphone demo is good? I love the original and I can't imagine how the demo can be an improvement.

So Scotty, you don't like Catcliffe Shakedown then??? It's the only demo that I'm really into.

How many of the b-sides are actually different versions to the ones released before?
I am downloading from iTunes and they don't really say. (so Ansaphone, PTA ... ?)

Ansaphone is a rougher demo than the version on the Disco 2000 single. Cocaine Socialism is the version mixed for a nixed single release, and is different from the version on the Little Soul single. Tomorrow Never Dies is a demo version, rather than the same track from This Is Hardcore with a new vocal added. The Nick Cave Disco 2000 is a totally, completely different Nick Cave Disco 2000 from the one on the Bad Cover Version CD.

Nothing else we "already had" is any different; Whiskey in the Jar is the same as on the Childline LP, You're A Nightmare the same as the Lipgloss CD (despite the packaging claiming it as previously unavailable). Like A Friend is the b-side version from A Little Soul, not the soundtrack edit. Everything else is exactly the same.
