Odd little cameo, this. In the last minute or so of episode 6 of the new ITV series "The Hack", there's a montage of all the events immediately leading up to the 2011 phone hacking scandal and the closure of the News of the World. Which we know Jarvis was very happy about. And it made me feel very, very old realising just how long ago all of that stuff was.

After that, the soundtrack fades into Jarvis doing what appears to be a cover of Johnny Cash's "The Man Comes Around". For a few seconds. Very odd! I hope we get to hear the whole thing. It doesn't appear in the final episode or anywhere else in the series.

In similar territory, a familiar song...

Not the first time that song has been featured in a film.

In hindsight, it's the obvious single off the debut solo, in't it?
Albeit, helped by the little steal (sample?).

Nice that Uncle Nick approves of his old acquaintance/pal featuring in his film.
