The main behind the Nine O'Clock Service, which claimed various Pulp members and associates in the late '80s, has been sentenced for multiple counts of indecent assault, dating back to that period.

That was my first thought too. Might be a mixed blessing soon if he ends up in a male prison...
Various Pulp members involved....was it not just Ant Genn? I'd love to read a memoir by him, he's had a really interesting life/career and is clearly a character (mind you, so was Ogy McGrath).
.
There was another Pulp member too, although when I interviewed him he asked for it not to be mentioned in the book. Also Jonathan Kirk who was their sound engineer in the mid-late '80s.
Seconded on Ant Genn, I'd have loved to speak to him.

There's a great news report airing now on Look North. Brain lived on Crookes just up the road from me and I knew people who went to 9 O'clock Service. Everytime I go and see my Mother I always see the old Co-Op (now two houses) that acted as a HQ for the cult.
