I had no doubt, the Japanese release is far better & prettier than the European release. It's a digisleeve and not a cardboard sleeve. I will receive mine this week, hopefully.

Yeah apart from the sample obviously. But it seems at least mixed differently. All the record features Jarvis vocals way above the instrument. And on Got to Have Love, its the opposite. At least on the streaming version, as i dont have my CD yet. Is it intentional to have the sample more present ? I dont know. But its clearly different from the rest of the record. A bit like Spike Island, which was recorded before, but it feels less different.

I reckon they left a little trace. Like the Beatles did with George Harrison on Now and Then (he didn't play a full guitar track but they found a tiny excerpt of slide they could use).
