Think this probably deserves its own thread as its their first interview since 2011(?!).

 

Apparently they'll be on shortly after 11.30am (annoyingly, i have a meeting then) but 6Music are currently playing 6 Pulp songs back to back!

I think to lead those six songs into the new one would create a weight of expectation that would be...heavy.

They're playing some of the band's own choices now (Joy Division).

I think the only 'new' song I've heard is Hymn to the North when I saw them in London the other year. I haven't seen any of the live clips of any of the other new songs, so all of this should - hopefully - be a surprise to me!

I've always found randomly tuning into a BBC Radio station has provided me usually with a new song I fall in love with and go on to enjoy the band, it's how I discovered Pulp in the first place when I was tuning my old stereo system radio '
