Not directly Pulp related, but a sort of thank you to the community. Ive been taking a trip down memory lane looking at my old blog posts from the height of my obsession with Steve 13 years ago (eugh the passage of time). I was 21 and completely enamored with Pulp to an insane degree and terrified of joining this forum because I was afraid I would be told off by older, long-term fans. You all assuaged those fears so quickly and were nothing but incredibly kind and welcoming and taught me even more about this band we all love.
I know I was gone for the forum for a long time, but this reminiscing led me back and I was so pleased to see its still active and so many of you are still around and still as in love with them as ever. Theyve always been there in the background for me (always always in spotify top 5 artists every year without fail HA) but i wish i hadnt drifted away from the forum so much, especially when Steve passed.
anyway not trying to disrupt the flow of threads about band news, but I just wanted to thank you all for being so kind to my over-enthusiastic 21-year-old self. it truly stuck with me. And I guess Ive been feeling sentimental lately anyway, but Pulp fans remain the kindest folks of any band fandom Ive ever met.

Good to have you back Tricia, we've missed your input. Plus you were responsible for one of the more memorable lines on here involving Steve and uterus walls!

Oh god someone really should have sedated me in my 20s

Well this is a fine time to find out the search function on this site doesn't really work.

I noticed the same issue lately but ArrGee kindly resolved it (see the main sticky (apt) thread at the top) - basically put the word/phrase you're searching between quotation marks ie "uterus". It brings up a couple of results. Someone quoted the line from Tricia's blog near the bottom of page one on the Radio City thread.
Don't be embarrassed T, it was very eloquent - and let's face it, Steve was smoking.
