Tonight, our cheeky friends debuted another NEW SONG. Mindsets its called....or is it My Sex? I cant be sure.

Best way I can explain it without spoiling it, Acrylic Afternoons vs Ladies Man.

Its on the Pulp Band Fan Group. Id say this is the most unfinished song out of the lot.

yeah it was called My Sex and it felt like almost the Modern Marriage of the new lot

That said, Jarvis is really in good voice. Basically no say/shout. We got Lipgloss and with confidence.

Also they seem to indicate they'd be rolling out more new songs, so I'm certain they currently expect to release an album, barring any production disappointments.

Pulp and production disappointments are certainly a potential worry so fingers-crossed. Maybe they should just self-produce, Jarvis and Mark.

Anyway, I thought this was going to be a cover of the Elastica song based on the title (well, I didn't really) but they're really firing them out now! Hope they hold some back so that we first hear them on the album.

Giles commented on Jarvis and Mark's rapport seeming stronger than ever before!

So glad they brought Lipgloss out again and it wasn't just a one-off! It's the #3 spot in the setlist that's the 'free spot' I think. Although nothing will compare to that Hogmanay encore!

I'd say "The Professional" done by Jarv Is. Sounds pretty good on first impressions.

I have attempted to transcribe the lyrics on the wiki. Feel free to improve.

We are now in practically the same position as we were in 1999: 5 new songs ("Roald Dahl" not withstanding). Here's to hoping for another new song tonight.

Oooooh the bass in this one. That groove is straight out of the Hardcore recording sessions. Properly bursting to hear this one again. Andrew just fits like a glove (a pink glove? discuss)

I've listened to a full recording of the first Canada show, and i tell you what - the tightness of everyone is so noticeable. I'd even go as far as saying that they sound as good as they ever have right now.

Sure is. There is another recording on YouTube (of the full set) so I have used that to fill in some of the blanks. I have also attempted to improve "Spike Island".

I can see your logic; the music could have easily featured on side 2 of "Separations" but I still think that the vocal is similar to "The Professional".
