I have 3 not so good seats for 9/14 (got better seats in the general sale), 3 GA for LA first night, that I am more than happy to sell at original price to the real fans.
(Not sure about how I'm gonna do that.. and if it's appropriate to post here, admin feel free to delete if not)
idk how you guys managed to grab *any* tickets for nyc!! it was such a surreal and bizarre system. today when i tried yet again and finally got in they started 200-300 a pop. not surprising bc ticket prices have gotten so insane in the last few years here, but my god! guess i am glad i saw them in dublin at least???

i figured out that each incognito browser window got a separate random spot in the queue, so opening up a bunch of those prior to 10am helped with getting a decent spot... wish I opened a few more today though! Prices sucked but GA was cheaper (like 130 w fees). still hoping they move to a venue that is bigger and not in flatbush

ahh, nice 130 def isn't the worst. but yeah this is what we did! i roped my husband into this too, who could not care less for pulp but lol we had adjacent laptops going for it to get a spot in line. i had to run off to a meeting so while i was on the train he called me to let me know he finally got in, and how crazy pricey it was. i do love the interior of kings theatre but yeah. maybe not the best venue for the demand clearly! i'm happy for the outpouring of support for their triumphant return but like hoping for a resale miracle ;(

For the first presale my boyfriend and I had both of our laptops and phones open in hopes we'd be able to snag tickets across one of those 4... I was so paranoid we wouldn't get any after hearing how the earlier timezones' sales went that morning. That's smart about using incognito tabs! I hadn't thought of that
Just realized PULP will be in Toronto during Toronto International Film Festival. Wonder if Jarvis' increasing film presence might mean he'll be part of "something"?
Just reading about these prices. So sorry to see that happen. Hope all of you true fans get sorted with tickets for fair prices. Glad you're getting to see them that side of the pond. Enjoy!
American obsessive for 30 years--I've seen Pulp once and Jarvis twice in the past. I'm already flying from out-of-state to see them twice in CA and now they announce a show at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery??!! I am really torn, given these ticket prices. I know the setlists haven't changed much across the tour. Any thoughts re. how the singular venue might impact the show (or not)? Thanks Pulp People <3
If it were me and I could afford it, I'd go ahead and add the third show. Outdoors on a September evening in LA? Sounds like it has good potential to be something special. And while you can probably expect the setlists to be very similar on all three nights you can also be sure the shows won't be identical. But maybe it's just me. I've always done the sensible thing and passed up opportunities to catch a second show and always come away with a bit of mild regret. It will be no different this year, though the insane prices make it easier to swallow.
Thanks so much for the feedback--I appreciate it. I can't really afford it (single mom), but my parents live in LA and I just learned that my great-grandparents are buried in that cemetery(!). I'm going to see if I can go and bring my kid.
