Not Pulp, of course, but has anyone seen the new remaster? I've always thought David Byrne and Jarvis Cocker were sort-of-similar in many ways.

And oh my god, it's SO good. Absolutely amazing experience, and I got to see it in a cinema. Just class.

It's a classic. Didn't Jarv cover Heaven? Always thought that was an influence on Happy Endings.

He did...and that's an interesting comparison, I can see it now that you say it.

I covered "Mind", like Heaven, from 'Fear Of Music' with a couple of my musician associates....shameless plug...

Yes cant wait to see the remaster of this. Everytime its on at the one of the chains here we always book a ticket so I've probably seen it once or twice a year for the past 5-6 years. Tickets are booked. yes Jarvis is David Byrne is Robert Forster. Has anyone seen the edit of Stop Making Sense, but only when Tina Weymouth is on screen. The best!

I've seen it five times during the run so far, like going to church!

it was so incredible. the best atmosphere of anything id ever been to. everyone was dancing at the front and copying david byrne's moves and it was the funniest thing ever. 10/10 i wish i could erase the recording from my mind so i could go see it again for the first time

I'm hoping to catch this soon in the cinema. The record is a staple of my listening.

Very interesting development with the band reuniting to 'tour' the release with interviews and appearances after years of acrimony. I've been following things and you can tell they are still thawing to each other a bit, but things seem to be improving.

Jerry Harrison teased it's the beginning of them becoming comfortable with each other again. One can dream of some more Talking Heads work somewhere down the line but I'm not so sure yet.
