Fingers crossed for a Pulp night one Saturday. Expect they could just about cobble together an hour-long "Pulp at the BBC" with TOTP appearances and clips of Jarvis/the band from various shows (Shooting Stars, Mondo Rosso, Live & Kicking etc). Then there's No Sleep Till Sheffield, of course, and it would be a perfect opportunity to finally repeat the Eden Project gig (you gotta have a dream).

I believe Blur have recorded a new concert for the BBC for this night. Why haven't Pulp done one? That's a damn shame. Of course they may have been asked and said no but still..we demand equality for Pulp!

Yes, it was broadcast live on 18 July.  There was a ticket ballot, but alas no one I knew got any.

The concert will be on the red button for a while this week so if you are at Hammersmith tonight, you can watch it later.

Probably because blur have new material and as such are on the promotion trial, Pulp have no need for that....yet.

Yeah, you're right of course. Hopefully Pulp will have need of such promotional exposure in the near future.

There is a documentary on Sky.  Nothing Compares.  There was an article about it in the Standard yesterday.
