Am very hopeful of some different songs! Brixton last time was amazing
About 3 songs in, I think that was unlikely. I believe both nights will be filmed so they will be the same with the best of each night making the cut. Something Changed will have to re-recorded for sure. The sound at the Eventim Apollo wasn't as good as it was at Finsbury Park. Seems to be something about that venue as The Damned suffered from sound issues when I saw them there and the Ziggy premiere a few weeks ago wasn't as impressive as watching Moonage Daydream in Leicester Square.
If anyone was going to change, setlist-wise, then I guess the question is - whither Dishes?
Why did they play Dishes for the first two gigs, then drop it completely from the setlist? It hasn't been heard since.
(My theory: it was a low-key bridge for the first two times they had to do the difficult Steve tribute, and it allowed the mood to settle a bit with the excitement of that first gig - and then it lost out to Mis-Shapes being moved up the setlist for a more energetic start to the set.)

From what I could see, the microphone in Nick's bass drum fell over. Also there was some weird hum just before DYRTFT? which kinda resulted in Jarvis' comically threatening to shoot a confetti cannon at Mark.
Also if they were filming tonight, I sure as hell didn't see any cameras.

DAMN it! Was very excited to find face value standing on Twickets when I got home just now, only to check the train times & find I wouldn't be able to get home because of the strikes :-/
Hope everyone has a great time...
Really informative review on the NME here of all the particular quirks to this show, I'd already forgotten some of them!
Jarvis quoting himself from those wonderful early PulpPeople streams of consciousness (It's 1992 and...) was a real thrill. And him finally catching a grape in his gob, clearly another key triumph!

Cocker commented on how hed been to many shows at the Apollo including Kate Bush and Iggy & The Stooges but had always longed to perform here.
Showing my age, but I have seen Boomtown Rats, Damned, Slade, Bowie (sadly just the movie a fortnight ago) and err Riverdance...
... for the record, I hated Riverdance, I blame my in laws who couldn't attend. We tried to give away the tickets away outside, but no joy. So we thought how bad can it be?
Candida apparently told folk in the queue at Hammersmiff this avo that there'll be more shows next year. So live on! No, I mean play "Live On"....oh, never mind.
Sheah! Apparently. Her and Jarvis apparently went to acknowledge the early queuers and told folk stuff that they inferred was top secret shiz. This is according to a post on one of the Facebook fan groups.
Oh, and in case you're wondering which "obscure" Pulp song did Jarvis tease last night when he introduces Common People. "We've played everything...have I missed anything? Master Of The Universe? You wanna hear Master Of The Universe?"
Sadly, Mark didn't play the opening chords for it like he did in Italy in 2012!

I'm updating it and there's no source for Disco 2000 or Mis-Shapes yet so I'm not allowed to add them yet, but I'm assuming it's the same as last night.
