Nice Instagram post from the lady who made Jarv's velvet suits. I started thinking they looked like different colours, but wasn't sure if it was just the colour of the lights in different shots, but no, there are several different ones.
Thanks for sharing this Fran. I guessed the suits would have been Edward Sexton but its great to know exactly who the cutter is.
Looking at a minimum of 2 grand each for those if they were cut from a pre-drafted pattern, 6 if they were fully bespoke. Made me feel a bit anxious when Jarvis appeared to be keeping grapes in the pocket at Bridlington. I hope he has a good dry cleaner.
Also, what an absolute dream job that would be. I work in formal menswear and I know in my case Jarvs look was a huge part of the inspiration that led me here. Cutting suits for him would feel like a mad fantasy. I might be a little bit jealous.

The flared trousers and cuban heels are irresistible. Bowie wore similar at Glasto, paired with a Regency-style jacket. Just tried to Google it and oddly there were no photos below his waist. The matching suit edges it though. Id dress like this every day were it possible

"You may have read about my silhouette in a review of Pulps show at Latitude this weekend. Let me tell you the story of that silhouette.
It all began when I bought a Tommy Nutter black velvet suit from a second hand shop in Islington in 1992. It was a bit small for me but I loved it so I wore it without a shirt in the video for Babies.( btw I still have the jacket - the trousers got destroyed in an incident too involved to go into here.) Swipe to photo 2: 20 years later I was lured into being photographed for the GQ UK 25th anniversary issue when they informed me that the clothes Id be wearing were made by Edward Sexton - & that Edward had been the head cutter at Tommy Nutter. This led to me getting a suit made (see photos 3 &4). Which brings us to Photo #5: the Sexton Sihouette is what you have seen if youve been to any of this summers Pulp concerts. Many thanks to @edwardsexton & Nina Penlington & Dominic Sebag-Montefiore for these magnificent suits of armour! #itstartedthere #clothesmakeththeman #thesextonsilhouette"

I love how much they are leaning into their history for this tour. The single reissues, the choice quotes from (some quite obscure!) songs on the tote bag and tea, now the regenerated Babies '92 suit!!

Nah, it's definitely just a scarf. It's just very thickly wrapped around his neck. He only wears it for the first couple of songs anyway and he doesn't seem to wear it indoors. It might be a sort of running in-joke but what do I know.
Also from the twitter messages I've been reading, the pink scarf is getting noticed...
