Ill be there. Semi dreading the inevitable rain and hordes of pissed up teenagers but itll be worth it for Pulp.

Pissed up teenagers who'll be there for Niall Horan and George Ezra, and then won't leave the crowd afterwards, and chatter throughout Pulp because they only want to hear Common People...
Dreading it too! Excited, though... having seen them at Brid, it'll be so great to see Pulp on the big stage. Everyone's talked about how great this show is. I can't wait!

I was at Brid too. :) That show felt quite intimate (probably helped by being front and centre) so itll be good to see a gig on the opposite end of that spectrum. Pulp sounded incredible at Brid but Im really looking forward to seeing them on a bigger stage with visuals. The projections look like theyve been put together by the designer Julian House whose work I really dig, so it should be a nice addition.
Im hoping there will be a bit less of the typical young TRNSMT crowd this year - doesnt look like tickets have been selling too well and I know a reasonable number of folk whore only going for Pulp. A festival crowd is never going to have quite the same feeling as a stand-alone gig (another winning point for Brid!) but it would be nice if we Pulp fans could outnumber the weans.

I know of another Pulp fan who's going for sure (think he can be found on here). So yeah, let's get our numbers together, march on Glasgow Green, mis-shapes rising to take Sauchiehall Street by storm... um, maybe not.
Anyone know of any Pulp afterparties in the vicinity afterwards?
(On another topic, karaoke tonight - my local boozer has a whole bunch of Pulp tracks, so it's hard picking... So far I've done Common People, Disco 2000, I Spy, Lipgloss, Pink Glove, Acrylic Afternoons... think I'll do Mis-Shapes. And maybe Queen Bitch.)
Regarding afters this is all Ive seen. Probably a bit naff. Personally will probably head to West on The Green for convenience more than anything then downstairs at Nice N Sleazy for some classic disco if I fancy a late one.

Pulp getting some flak on Twitter for not letting BBC Scotland transmit (TRNSMT) their set. Kind of reinforces that it is a fixed show that they want to retain some mystique to (i.e Jarvis' entrance, his disappearing into the Sunrise etc.).
They'll be finished now, so how was it, lipglossed?

Not to mention that the Hammersmith Apollo shows are clearly going to get some kind of general release, with both nights being filmed
Looking forward to the review of this :) I thought the same re Sheffield 2012, was sure some of that was recorded. Wonder when that will see the light of day. Be great to have some official footage from the last reunion and this one... oh and a WLL deluxe release. That's all I'm asking for :)
What a show eh.
Im a little gutted it wasnt shown on the beeb as I would happily watch it all back over and over.
The crowd was obviously very different from Bridlington - less of the energy and sense of dedication though I still spoke to a few international fans who had travelled a long way to be there. TRNSMT was simply not the right fit for Pulp and even right down at the barrier I was surrounded by kids who seemed to know Common People and Disco 2000 at most.
Still it was nice to see them leaving having thoroughly enjoyed the show, Pulp may well have gained themselves a new generation of teenage weegie bam fans!
The band were on top form and sounded spectacular and having all the additions of projections and pyrotechnics after the more stripped back Brid show took things to another level. Fan-f*ing-tastic.
