Considering that there was the short spurt of released gigs on that day not too long ago, anyone else find it weird that aside from the odd rehearsal pictures from Nick, there's been NOTHING? Hardly anything press wise ... there's totally radio silence??
Still holding out for a Cuckoo/Live On re-recorded Double A-side vinyl for Record Store Day...
Seriously though...hopefully there'll be a morsel of something, M Sturdy has heard that something will come out, we'll just have to wait and see.
I wonder if the Hardcore 25th anniversary in March will be marked somehow.
The only plus about no Russell involvement is that we'll surely hear more TIH and WLL songs more frequently on the summer tour than in 2011/12.

Interesting, where was this posted? I really hope something comes of it, but not banking on an album sadly - it would be great to have an album with Steve involved.

They havent even marked the 25th anniversary of Different Class
I suspect the big gatherings will be Different Class heavy, however I am hopeful of some post summer outings with a different repertoire.
I would rather a more widely available release than another RSD limited edition. I rarely get them until the eBay scalpers try to fleece me. Still trying to get ChangesNowBowie and Soul Tour 74 for a reasonable price. Neither are essential so I will wait until the scalpers have them for long enough
My money is on a super-deluxe reissue of "This is Hardcore". There are still 6 demo versions (of tracks that were later released) from the early 1997 sessions plus an instrumental called "Grown-ups". There are also earlier versions of "Help the Aged" and "Northern Souls" plus I'm guessing that there are home demos etc. that could easily make up a third CD.
Also, I don't think that Steve has completely left the band, he just won't be participating in the 2023 live shows. This doesn't completely rule him out from any remastering/recording.

Well if someone is having a peek here from time to time, let me say that I think the treatiest treat for RSD would be disc 2 from the hypothetical WLL Deluxe
And also that Ive bought some new flares especially for the Sheffield gig, leaving me 6 months to slim into them, and I look forward to their giving me something to shake them to!

YES!!!! WE LOVE LIFE OUTTAKES!!! :))))))))))))
Or finally a Jarv vocal/full version of "Got to Have Love" from the WLL outtakes.
We should definitely hint at some reunion song requests nearer the time...I'm convinced Little Girl and Countdown before the Sheffield gig came from a Twitter request

You're right. The Blur "Special Collectors' Edition" was only ever released on CD in Japan (though I managed to get a copy in Blackpool HMV) and the Suede demos have never been released on vinyl before.
