I'm sure someone mentioned this recently?

Anyroad, couldn't be arsed searching for it on here..

In case anyone is interested, it was a snippet of the Russ & Jarv interview and a live vocal version of babies from the wherehouse programme..

Nothing you aren't already familiar with..

Not really..
Another Dc & h&h heavy set list holds no interest for me
.
I'm realistic about it, of course a fire records era set would be my dream...no chance!
I really don't want to hear another encore of disco 2000 or common peeps..
I witnessed all that on the last icebreaker..
However, my lighthouse was an absolute unexpected charm at the Royal Albert hall...
We'll see...

I reckon hopes could be high for a broader-than-before set list, with the emergence of a few well received throwback songs towards the end of the first reunion and Jarv Is throwing some curveballs. Good Pop Bad had Jarvis in retrospective mode too, and with it likely the last few shows ever I should think itll be less of a greatest hits outing this time. Whilst not recently, obviously, they have played some of those tunes an awful lot and might be more inclined to trot out a few personal favourites. Fingers crossed eh?

Hopefully at their own shows but the festival-type ones will be of the fare Jason describes.

I'd expect their "A List" from last time to incorporate more Hardcore and WLL though given that they don't have to accommodate Russell this time round.

Hopefully After You will be a set-staple. In fact if they played that and Live On and no other surprises, I'd consider the whole re-reunion worthwhile.

Ooh yeah, live on would be magic to hear live again, a bit of a Russ wah-wah classic but would be entertaining to hear someone else's interpretation..
I guess it is very likely that after you & cuckoo would be included? Perhaps? Maybe?

I agree with most of Jason's comments above. We've seen the "Hits and popular album tracks" show many times before so it would be great if they could do something a bit different. I went to one of The Divine Comedy album shows and it was great. I've also got tickets for Suede in March and if you look at some of their setlists from over the past few years, they are quite interesting: full albums, b-sides, early album tracks, new songs.

I still think that "Common People" sounds great live but have had enough of hearing "Do You Remember the First Time?" (at the start of the set), "Babies" and "Sorted for Es and Wizz" being played over and over.

I agree, "Live On" would be great, I was about 7 years old when this was last played so no chance of me seeing it then. The fast "My First Wife" would be great too but I think my ultimate wish would be "Deep Fried in Kelvin"... unlikely, but not completely beyond the realms of possibility.

Problem is, most casual fans will be happy to pay 70 quid or more as long as they hear the half a dozen (or so) hits. It's only us geeks that want a few surprises and oddities.

Jason is absolutely correct - id rather Pulp not reunite, UNLESS there is a purpose for it ie new material, touring an album with unplayed songs. As much as I do love Pulp especially being my all ti.e favourite band..... there's only so many times you can hear songs over and again.
