i'm in the states so a bit shocked it came so early! no extra special presents merch or anything of the sort; i believe it was the same price as the one that's what's being sold on rough trade ? ive been seeing an edition with a cool dust jacket that mine lacks sadly!

my first impressions (ive not yet read through all the text) is that it's quite lovely and worth it, and there is a very illuminating candida interview that i'd post up here but idk if that's allowed? the interview sheds some insight into her headspace during the TIH era

my complaints would be some of the graphic design is too extreme and kind of filling up pages and i had some dirty printing on a few pages of my copy > : | (but ok ok ok it's not a taschen or a rizzoli) also some of the film scans bother me but that's just me being nitpicky.

Mine arrived today!! The postcard goes up on the fridge and the book goes bedside, going to consume it as slowly as I can. Looks gorgeous did allow myself to sneak a peek at the first few pages of the (nice and long) candida interview, seems replete with good tidbits! I dont think the unedited album cover photo made it in :)

DHL it looks like have dropped mine off at the Corner Shop for me to collect tonight!!! Im so excited!! Mine has arrived here in Brisbane so hopefully others in far parts of the world will be getting theres soon. Oh this is the Volume one it seems as well.

Trying not to be salty but it is a little disappointing that the trade version is now on sale and those of us that backed the project with our money well over a year ago now are still waiting. Was there no mention of this at the event?

Yeah, i moved house last week and was worried too. I got in touch with Volume to update the address. They sent me a Fedex tracking link this evening, looks like it will be delivered on Monday.

I have mine!!! picked it up last night. Its fantastic!!! I read the lengthy interview with Candida this morning. Theres so much in it. But something of interest - in the 'Pulp-related books section' it lists all the Pulp books like Marks and Owens and Russells and Nicks etc and then Mark Webber - I'm with Pulp, Are you? - listed published in 2023.

Must have been delayed, maybe for the best as it's a crowded Pulp literary market at the moment with Nick's memoir and the two Hardcore books (the arty one and the 33 1/3 one due in a few months). So hopefully we'll get this bad boy next year.

I'm impressed by the amount of writing in there, imagined it would be mostly a photo book, but it's almost 50/50.
Certainly it's far superior to the last Pulp photo book, if anyone remembers that!

 Literally the exact same thing happened with me- its coming Monday via fedex- thank god for that, i can relax now
