As we all know about the topless model publicity stunt event where Jarvis got approached by her out on the field and we have ALL seen it and its still openly publicated everywhere..well, it turns out she was actually 17 then in 1995 and it was legal age to pose and publish nude in 1995 in the UK (where it happened and where shes from.) That law got overturned in 2003 making it 18 to legally pose and public nude. In the USA however its always been 18, i think? So does that now make those old pics that are online and published print of the event and video illegal now? Only just found out about that new law as it was recently a topic of debate among the fan circle.
Personally I always thought she was like 20, 25 as did most... Looks way older. Didnt know she was even a professional model til a year ago or so. Thought it was some fan. Lol.
Dont know UK law nor the full story behind what happened exactly. And given this is such a huge part of Pulp history.
And jarvis did nothing wrong. He acted very appropriately and polite during the whole fiasco. He had no clue what was going on either.
From what I had read, her modeling agency hired her to surprise and streak the band players on the field, like she had earlier in the year at another professional soccer game event. Jarvis happened to be the unsuspecting victim! That agency, even if "legal" then, was creepy and fucked up to do that anyway. I think even 18 is too young to be doing that kinda shit, too..in my opinion, but you're an all around legal adult in all aspects except drinking here.
I'd suggest nobody post it or even share it. Legal still or not. Morally and legally iffy.
