Hi! If anyone's interested, I've recently contributed to a podcast run by a couple of friends of mine. The concept is that everyone picks 2 or 3 songs based around a theme, and we talk about the songs with some personal recollections mixed in. The theme this time was Sheffield, so I picked out a couple of Pulp tracks, and a couple of others. We tried to avoid being too obvious, so there's no Common People or Do You Want Me! There's a fair bit of chat about the '80s Sheffield scene that Pulp grew up in, with a few more esoteric subjects thrown in.
I'm afraid I start wittering a bit as the wine flows, but if you can put up with that I don't think it's a bad listen! I accidentally disappear about 5 minutes before the end which probably isn't a bad thing....
