I was looking at this and wondering what locations could be added to make a comprehensive Pulp tour. Any help would be welcome. But anyway, I googled Forge Dam and low and behold, a child's toy horse ride. This must be it, right? It's not like they'd have replaced an old horse ride with a slightly less old one. But what does it sound like? I need to know this when the pandemic business is over and I can get back up north.

 

Has anyone here paid the requisite 20p to find out?

My little Wickerman film features photos of the very horse and interiors of the original Forge Dam cafe. The cafe was renovated several years ago and is now quite posh. All the press in plastic letters and scuffed Formica topped tables are long gone.

It is a pretty haunting tune afterall. Ye gods.

Awesome film too, thanks for sharing. Hoping to take a long ramble to take in some of these sights one spring afternoon. Definately one of the most emblematic Pulp tracks for me, so rooted in place & introspect
