Oh thank you (et Merci Philippe), that version of Swanky Modes with piano accompaniment (but much fuller piano than on record) is gorgeous! Not even ruined by the jazz-freestyle ending on the last phrase.
Swanky Modes is now like Happy Endings to me - there are two very different, great alternate versions (HE - 1992 demo/Auto live. SM - this version/Live summer 2020 cave recording) that beat the proper released studio version.
On the album credits the piano music has two different non-Jarv Is... guys attributed to Swanky Modes; one for the writing and one for the recording (which was as far back as 2015). I couldn't make out with my bad French whether this was a live session, something previously recorded or whether Jarvis was singing live to the recorded piano.
Anyway, great spot. If someone can rip the audio of the song (it's 29 minutes in), that'd be great.
As an aside...fackin' ell Jarv - your French is no better than when Pulp did their first shows in France in 1991!
