This months magazine and music bundle includes a snazzy pink vinyl seven-inch featuring two fantastic tracks by Jarvis Cockers new project JARV IS. Jimmy and Joyce are sublime analogue sound paintings, seething with sizzle and twang and crackle and drone. Recorded with the help of his long-time collaborator Jason Buckle, they are probably Cockers purest electronic pieces to date. The tracks were originally commissioned by the iconic Scottish choreographer Michael Clark for his acclaimed 2012 production Whos Zoo?, but they have remained unreleased until now

"Recorded a decade ago with the singer's long time collaborator Jason Buckle under their reactivated Relaxed Muscle alias, and released here under the new JARV IS... guise"...
Yeah, it's er...fine but can't see myself digging it out and faffing around with the turntable for four minutes each side of new-toy electronics messing around. The article in the magazine is very good though as is some of the other content.
Ha, oh dear, I overlooked those last two responses and thought there hadn't been an update! Sorry. Sounds a bit loose from what you say... Not worth the punt even from a compulsive fan's perspective? I'm not going to be bidding £70 for this in five years then?
