It's the same film that was (partly) shown on Channel 4.
Don't know what the deal is with Glastonbury footage rights. The Beeb obviously have some massive tie-up deal with them now, considering the blanket coverage they give it every year, so maybe that includes archive stuff as well.

I'm guessing that a production company did the C4 stuff under contract and the BBC just buy the footage whenever they want to show it
I don't think it sounds that much different to the bootleg to be honest... Well, not as much as I'd expect anyway. I'd have much preferred 2011 set in it's entirety as it's never been broadcast at all.

Was 2011 even filmed? I know they broadcast stuff from the Park Stage these days but did they back then?
Thanks Sedbarry for the uploads!

It was filmed, but never broadcast due to the agreement to have Reading on TV, I believe.
However, I'm sure I've seen * part * of it somewhere. I'll see if I can remember. Definitely had some Jarvis chat and then a song. Presumably Common People.
Does anyone actually have the remixed version of Glasto '95? Not having listened to my original tape for years, I was surprised when watching the repeat on Saturday how rough-round-the-edges it is. That's kind of part of the charm (can't resist a bit of Russell turned up to 11), but it would be interesting to hear a more balanced mix.
