After you demo version always sounded better for my ears than the later version and i cant explain why. Also i was fan of Nico and it reminds me of her song named Reich der Träume. I did not check, but the chords seem to be the same

 Thank you! I like it a lot, sounds a lot less "glossy" than the official 2012 recording and more in keeping with later era Pulp.
