Some of you who have been around here for a very long time may remember I did a cover of Silence many years ago, and a few of you really liked it. (Especially Sturdy, I vaguely recall).
Anyways, I'm currently learning to use more modern recording equipment (powerful PC & a DAW), so I thought another Pulp cover might be a good way to practice.
So, as the title suggests, any requests? Any era, maybe even another of Jarvis' projects...
I'll have a go at the most popular answer (ha ha assuming I get more than one reply!), & if I can't come up with anything decent I'll move on to the next.
Oh & if anyone's interested here's the original Silence cover...
Eamonn, I'm surprised you have such an aversion to 80's Pulp. I've played Little Girl (With Blue Eyes) & I Want You live countless times & they always seem to go down well. Still, each to their own ;)
Yeah, I'm pretty confident in my crooning ability so Someone Like The Moon can be a contender.
My old band The Ultimate End played Live On at nearly every show & I'm still pretty sad we no longer exist so I'll probably avoid that one. Unless there's suddenly a glut of requests for it, of course.
So that's one vote for Someone Like The Moon, one for 97 Lovers & one against 97 Lovers, giving Someone Like The Moon a clear early lead!
edit: I'm supposed to have some time off work from the 15th, so that's when I plan to start working on it.

Okay. Someone Like The Moon it is!
Have began early noodlings with the acoustic. I'll let you know when I have something vaguely worth your attention, probably about a week.
