Silly question potentially, and I may give the correct answer myself here. Chevette covered WCDA. How did they get to know the lyrics, the melodies etc as I can only presume it was only performed live the once? Why didnt they cover something else from Different Class ? The album wasnt even released so how was it possible for them to even know about the song???
I might sound thick in asking this question, I'm just curious .
I guess they had the live bootleg tape of Drury Lane - the lyrics follow that more closely than the subsequent demo. They might even have asked Jarvis for help - that Danny Hunt (then in Chevette, later in Venini, then Ladytron) always seemed a well connected chap.
