I read this a couple of weeks back and wondered the same thing? As a late arrival there is so much I've missed...

I must say I felt this was bit of a missed opportunity on Jarvis' part - a big part of his appeal to me has always been his take on things and don't think this can be a great summary of his lifetime of listening... I think this feature is one of the better elements of Pitchfork - which though I check it daily, I reckon is a pretty naff affair (I don't know what others think?) and had been hoping Jarvis would contribute one day.

I'd love to read what the other members of Pulp would choose given the opportunity talk about their lifetime of listening habits...
